Re: Relegation odds 11/2
if you took 11/2 the bookies will be offering decent cash-out offers after next 4 games.
We will be bang in trouble by end of Feb

Re: Relegation odds 11/2
now best price 2/1 - some of the players look like they lumped on the 11/2

I expect they will have a relation clause in Moyes contract. We go down, Moyes gets terminated at a small cost. Start looking for a manager.

In the meantime, no scouting capability and shit training facilities.

Re: Relegation odds 11/2
I would never bet against West Ham but if I supported any other club I would be piling into this.

We are as good as gone. The only silver lining is that it might hurt the owners but even then they will turn in into a story about how great they are because they have to put their hands in their own pockets to get us back up.

I'm reading this sort of thing a lot on Twitter too.

Not picking out DocM - just a good example - I'm not armchair, but I feel the same. I've not put a penny in their pocket since March 2018, the Burnley game.

Re: 2019/20 Relegation thread
After 40yrs, mostly from the armchair i’ll admit, i just don’t care now. Nothing ever changes. Relegated. I really don’t care.

Can’t believe i’d ever feel this way..

Moyes pick tonight tells you everything you need to know.

You should have lumped on at 11/2 - still 3/1 before this evenings games.

William Hill are offering 6s on Brighton which I think is a huge price and 3s top price on us this morning. One or both will go. Fill your boots

Still 10/3

Re: Relegation odds 11/2
Points per game this season:

after 22 games 1.04
last 3 games 1.33 (but its a small data set for Moyes)

16 games at 1.33 = 21 pts

That should keep us up.

I still think we're going down though.

I don't think we should fear playing Man Utd or Arsenal away. They're as shit as each other (which is still better than us, mind).

Re: Relegation odds 11/2
I think that we could easily be adrift by then. Also we do have to actually win 5 of the last 6. Tall order given the state of that squad.

Manuel 12:30 Mon Jan 20
Re: Relegation odds 11/2
5 of the last 6 games are very winnable, so should be okay as long as we are not adrift by then.

Rossal 12:26 Mon Jan 20
Re: Relegation odds 11/2
16 games

away we have

Liverpool
City
Leicester
Spurs
Man Utd
Arsenal

Say that breeds a maximum of 4 points?

Gives us 10 games to get 13 points. 4 home wins and an away draw.

If we require the full 17 points from 10 games however....

16 games to get 17 points...
Tough sledding with a depleted squad...
Don't score enough...create little...
Unless Antonio...Anderson...Haller show up and Fabianski is in goal...
We could be Fucking Relegated...
Tough 5 games next...could leave us isolated in bottom 3...
Yes...blame injurues...VAR...etc...
But its mainly down to last summer's
Clearout and failure to get a proper striker to partner Haller...and a good DFM...
Sullivan and Pellegrini should be ashamed...

Re: Relegation odds 11/2
We are going down, that was clear from the burnley game. Only positive is seeing Gold and Sullivan’s jaw drop at the amount of money they lose.

Westside 5:57 Sun Jan 19
Re: Relegation odds 11/2
after all they get to cash in big time on our better players if we go down.

Which would be massively offset by the loss of TV monies.

nychammer 5:36 Sun Jan 19
Re: Relegation odds 11/2
Nobody wants relegation especially with that stadium. Home games would be a joke.

Given the lack of urgency to boost our squad I can only think our owners appear content to play with fire and gamble on that possibility, after all they get to cash in big time on our better players if we go down.

Re: Relegation odds 11/2
I think now might be a good time to back us to get relegated.

With the fixtures coming up.

Then maybe cash out?
